Lambretta release limited edition ‘Bicolore’ V-Special
As the name suggests, the Bicolore is defined by a two-tone colour scheme, inspired by similar treatments applied to Lambrettas in the 1950s and ‘60s.
Available on both the V125 and V200, the modern Bicolore’s take on this classic Lambretta colour combo adds red highlights to the leg shield and headlight surround, with the rear engine covers also finished in red, but carrying a unique ‘line to checker’ stripe in the base white.
As well as the red over white example pictured, the Biciolore is also available in a blue over white version of the same design.
Both colour options come with a slimline black seat and chrome rear carry rack from the Genuine Lambretta accessories range, as well as a numbered plaque confirming its limited-edition status.
Mechanically, the Bicolore is unaltered from the standard V125 and V200, meaning an air-cooled 125cc single cylinder engine producing 7.5kW and 9.2Nm in the former, and a 170cc capacity air-cooled single outputting 8.8kW and 12.2Nm in the latter.
A CVT transmission is common to both, as is LCD instrumentation, an LED headlight, 12V outlet, large underseat storage and hydraulic disc brakes front and rear with ABS.
Limited to only 38 units for Australia, the Bicolore V-Special Limited Edition is priced from $4,690 for the V125 version and $5,390 for the V200 (plus ORCs). See your authorised Lambretta dealer for details.
